In law, a class action, a class suit, or a representative action is a form of lawsuit in which a large group of people collectively bring a claim to court and/or in which a class of defendants is being sued. Class actions are commonly referred to as "class action suits," however this phrase is redundant as the historical distinction between "actions" at law and "suits" in equity is no longer recognized.

A class action case allows a group of individuals or small companies who have been harmed by the wrongful conduct of a corporation or organization to band together and pursue legal action against the negligent corporation. So we need to stand for any class of action. if we develop another more effective way of protecting the interests of masses of small claim-holders then will get success.Thanks for sharing.

It's unfortunate that so many people have taken advantage of being able to sue large companies: ie. suing McDonald's for burning yourself on hot coffee. But I do believe it does help keep businesses in line and on a more honest path.

Thoughtful as always. Until we attain utopia, I'd sure like to see class actions remain accessible to the public. At a minimum, they act as a stick to keep corporations (somewhat) honest.
